Great iterative design on some of the other fry baskets out there. The genius of this design is it is much simpler and elegant in how it gets things done. Instead of piping both water and air externally and having hoses and hard tubing hanging from above the rack getting in your way while you clean and requiring a separate water pump and an air pump, Scapefin’s iteration combines what is best about the Fluval(gentle water delivery through air fed water introduction) with what was best about Dean’s baskets in that they keep the fry in a small contained area for easier feeding but doing so in-tank. The pump delivers aerated water into the system from beneath the basket instead of above.

I built the old ones. I bought 2 of Scapefin’s to try them out and I just bought two more to replace my hand built trays. Sometimes cheaper is cheaper….but it’s not always better. Thanks you for making a great product!

Perfect for fresh or saltwater tanks! If you want to adhere a paste (like a reef cement) to it to help make it blend in better with your tank it’s totally feasible.

Well made and fit well into my 30 gallon tank. It was taller than I thought, but we had enough substrate :) and it was my fault for not checking the height and only focusing on the length.
